Niraku is Sen’s younger brother from her adopted family in Nionlah. Everyone in Nionlah knew him. He was a treasure to their small village. Niraku was kind and soft spoken, but he was wise for someone of his young age. He was full of insightful advice and had an overly optimistic view of the world despite how bleak it might have been at times. Niraku adored Sen and protected her from those who thought his older sister was different or odd. Sen has taken Niraku's advice to heart.
